Grivo Ltd. (“we”, “our”, “us”) provides an application and website that allow you to locate and navigate to EV charging stations. We value your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal data.

1. Information we collect

We may collect the following categories of information:

  • Account details – name, email address, phone number, payment details.

  • Location data – precise location, including foreground and background location, to provide core app features (nearby stations, navigation, charging session management) and the EcoTASH rewards program.

  • Usage data – device type, operating system, IP address, app interactions.

  • Support data – information you provide when contacting us.

  • Photos – if you choose to upload station photos.

  • Cookies & analytics – to understand usage and improve the service.

2. Use of data

We use the data to:

  • Provide and improve our services.

  • Enable navigation, charging management, and EcoTASH rewards.

  • Process payments.

  • Personalize the user experience.

  • Ensure security and comply with legal obligations.

  • Communicate with you about updates and support.

We do not sell personal data and we do not share location data with third parties for advertising purposes.

3. Location data and background tracking

  • Foreground location is used while the app is open.

  • Background location is used to measure driving/charging activity for EcoTASH rewards, even when the app is closed.

  • You can disable location permissions at any time in device settings. Disabling background location will disable EcoTASH rewards and may limit functionality.

4. Sharing of information

We may share your data only in these cases:

  • With trusted service providers (e.g. payment processors, hosting, analytics).

  • When required by law or legal process.

  • With your consent (e.g. when using Google Maps/Apple Maps).

  • In an aggregated/anonymized way that does not identify you.

We do not sell your data to third parties.

5. Data retention and deletion

We retain personal data only as long as necessary to provide services and meet legal obligations.
You may request deletion of your account and data by emailing [email protected]. Residual data may remain for backups, fraud prevention, or legal compliance.

6. Your rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to:

  • Access, correct, or delete your data.

  • Restrict or object to certain processing.

  • Withdraw consent at any time.

7. Children’s privacy

Our services are not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children. If we learn we have collected data from a child under 13, we will delete it promptly.

8. International transfers

If you access our services from outside Israel, your data may be processed in other countries with different privacy protections.

9. Security

We use appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect personal data. However, no internet transmission is fully secure.

We may update this policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date will reflect the latest version.
